Equipped with modern electric heating, a brand new fitted bathroom and kitchen with fridge freezer, dishwasher, washer-drier, coffee machine, oven and induction hob. The cottage also offers a 55” Smart TV with full SKY entertainment and sports package, plus NETFLIX in both the lounge and master bedroom, along with a kingsize bed and fitted wardrobes.

Silverdale is a haven for the outdoor enthusiast, offering the RSPB Leighton Moss Reserve, Arnside Knott and Gaits Barrow Nature Reserve on its doorstep to name but a few giving the opportunity to enjoy some stunning scenery of this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, along with the stunning Lancashire coast within 1 mile of the property. Silverdale golf club is located less than 200 yards from the property and offers a warm welcome to visiting golfers, plus hearty home-made food for non-members.

Morecambe Bay is under 10 miles away by either car or train. The access to the trains opens up the whole of the Lake District National Park, with places like Windermere and Ambleside under an hour away, plus enjoy some great shopping or the lovely pubs and restaurants without having to worry about the car. Whether it’s floating on a boat or dining in Michelin star restaurants, it is all within easy reach of this superb property.

The South Lakes is easily accessible by car or rail. Kendal is under 15 minutes drive away, Cartmel and Windermere are around half an hour drive, Ambleside and Coniston are under 1 hour. Many areas of the Lakes can easily be accesses by train also.

10/10 Beautifully decorated and furnished, with very comfortable kingsize bed. Location is ideal for walks from the door, with Leighton Moss reserve close by – we saw starling murmurations every evening. Quite quiet – the trains are not that frequent or loud and didn’t disturb us. We really enjoyed our stay.
