The cottage sits on an active train line at Blakedown Station, the train line is one stop from the famous Severn Valley Railway in Kidderminster, along with short direct trains travelling to the likes of The Jewellery Quarter, Warwick, Worcester, Stratford, Bridgenorth and Birmingham city centre.

Stop for lunch in Bewdley before venturing into the Wyre Forest National Nature Reserve, an ancient forest with picnic areas, walking and cycling trails, and a café.
Alternatively, head to West Midland Safari Park for a family-friendly day out with animals, a theme park and discovery trails!
The Severn Valley Railway is another brilliant day out to traverse through idyllic countryside on a heritage railway, but if you’re looking for more walking opportunities with your dogs, Clent Hills and Lickey Hills are two nature reserves well-worth a ramble.
